Apartment Kitchen

Like in yesterdays post we are showing before and afters and our favorite things about our apartment. Today we would like to show our kitchen. Kristen loves to cook, the kitchen has a lot of counter space and a dishwasher. However there isn't enough storage space. But we made it work. The kitchen is also part of the living room. So we had to bring the design theme over from the living room into the kitchen.

Didnt paint in here, but we added some lighting,artwork,WINE! and stools.

Favorite details about our kitchen-

We love wine and love the designs on wine bottle labels. We also have really high ceilings. What better way to show off some pretty art. Also its a good way to be green!

Chris had some fun beer glasses from his bachelor days. But we also lack in cabinet space. So we decided to buy some cheap metal shelving form ikea (gotta love it) and display these beer glasses. It was also an easy way to create interest to this wall.
