As you know our Kitchen is in the process of being gutted. Right now we are working on the plumbing aspect of the kitchen before the new walls go up. We both drink a lot of water, so its important to us to have clean, healthy water to drink .We are trying to be green and drink less bottled water. We are now in the market for a water filtration system that we can put under our kitchen sink. Welcome to the world of Reverse Osmosis.

Here is a diagram to better understand how Reverse Osmosis works-

We have narrowed it down to this filtration system by Whirlpool-

-Costs about $150, Filters need to be replaced about 6-9 months, $35 for filter replacement. In the long run thats still less $$!
-Reduces Sediment- Including Sand, Silt and Rust
-Reduces Chlorine
-Reduces Cryptosporidium and Giardia Cysts
-Reduces Lead
-Reduces Chemicals
-Reduces Arsenic, Copper, Nitrates, Radium, Chromium, Magnesium, and Sodium
