Making pound cake

The recipe is from Martha Stewart website. Get it HERE. The recipe was very easy and results were great. I don't think we will ever buy Pound Cake again. The Kitchenaid came in handy since you have to cream the sugar and butter for 7-8 minutes.
Some of the ingredients. I never realized how many eggs are in Pound Cake!
There is also a good amount of butter!

All done. The Kitchenaid did most of the work!
It was well worth the wait!
I think the Pound Cake would be great with some strawberries and cream. Yum! -Kristen
